About

Most policy never reaches
the women it's about.

Research on gender equality in India keeps getting better. The women it's written for almost never see it. It stays inside policy reports and conferences, then quietly disappears.

Insight that doesn't reach people is just paper.

Iradda was started by an engineer and a policy researcher to fix that. Ishika interned at NITI Aayog. Vishesh studies engineering at RMIT in Melbourne. Together we're building the missing layer: the place where research actually becomes useful.

What we believe

Most of the gender policy research written about Indian women never reaches Indian women. The bridge between research and lived experience is mostly missing. So we're building it.

Co-founder · Operations & Strategy

Vishesh Kumar, Co-Founder of Irada, is a final-year Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering student at RMIT University with experience across RMIT's UAV Research Team, RMIT High Velocity, and Engineering & Scientific International. He has led a cardiovascular digital-twin capstone in partnership with LEAP and ANSYS, designed a deployable nosecone for an L2-class rocket, and had a freight-pod concept selected among 28 teams across Victoria at the RTSA Hackathon. At Irada, he brings this systems-engineering grounding to building the operational backbone that turns research into something women can actually use.

Ishika Chaudhary

Ishika Chaudhary

Co-founder · Policy & Research

Ishika Chaudhary, Co-Founder of Irada, is a public policy and development research professional with 3+ years of experience across NITI Aayog, NHRC, IPE Global, and IIM Ahmedabad. A graduate of Lady Shri Ram College and a gold medalist in International Law and Diplomacy from the Indian Society of International Law, her policy writing has appeared in The Hindu, Hindustan Times, and Financial Express. At Irada, she brings this research and policy grounding to designing gender-equitable education for young students.
